Same problem here. It clicks on, stays on for about 2 seconds (with no video), then clicks off. I can make it do that twice and then nothing. I have to unplug and then plug back in for it to do it again. Is it worth the repair?

Isolate power from hor.output section. if voltage becomes normal 130v &it does not drop then power supply is ok. now check hor output for leaky compnents near eht specially capacitor & diode. check hor output tr. at last eht. you can clean print near eht.

as you have isolated h/output but the problem still persists(voltage is dropping) means 100% now it is clear that problem in power supply only.
    please check
1 cap or zener in switching reg. line.
2 one diode might be open in bridge rec. ckt
3 if set is old main filter cap dry.
    4 low input supply.

As per circuit discription of the IC LA76952DC {jungle IC} schematic diagram of this TV set not required as it is a jungle ic & our problem in p/supply.
but i assure that i will send data with in day or two.
    good luck

I heard small pop then lost power while watching my lg 50pg20. No red or blue lights on the power switch. What could be wrong?

you are describing a power supply defect. IT may be as simple as the main fuse. I believe the one in this set is a 6.5 amp located on the ps board right by cord connection. IF after replacing the fuse opens a second time you will need to replace the power board.

It wont turn on

You give us littel to go on here. Can you describe what happens (if anything) when you attempt to turn on the set? Is there a click? Is there a standby light on the set before you try turning it on? Is there sound or nothing at all?

While possible, dead sets are not usually caused by a blown fuse. If the fuse is blown, then the power supply will need work. If not blown, the power supply may still be the problem. Please update this with any other symptoms and we'll try to assist further.

Thanks,
Dan

1998 tl 3.2 won't start. only a 'tak' sound can be heard

it culd be problem with solinoied switch of starter, or with ignation switch, to find out, when car wont start some one have to check supply at starer solinoid small nut mounted wire, if supply is there then you can go to check if any relay is there before ignation switch if relay is fine you can replace ignation switch.

PC won't start

Hi, you're not supposed to hear any clicks as there are no relays in a normal pc. I'd suggest try a different power supply, also try to see if it starts up when the hard drive is disconnected.

I need to know how long do you have the tv?In the other word, approx. how many hours you have put into it?
Secondly, did you wall mounted the tv or setting it close the the area which there is not much room for the back of your tv to breath?

Toshiba cf32c50 tv will not turn on

This is a typical condition if the power supply has failed or a power-consuming circuit the supply services has exceeded a predetermined current draw. The relay you hear is preventing further damage or even fire.
You will need local tech help with this.

Power supply of tv

if voltage drops means there is a short circuit in your tv. 1 disconnecting 120v line if supply becomes ok then there is short ckt in horz.section &if it does not gives 120 volts then there is problem in power supply. please check as per instruction &let me know. good luck.
