My canon SD 700 photos are blurred on one side of photo? No matter what I do my photos are blurred. Thier does not seem to be any problems with the camera's operation, just blurred photos?

Sounds like a stupid question, but, if the camera is operating correctly in all other ways, have you checked to make sure that you didn't smudge the lens at some point?

I have an issue with my cannon camera. I just came from holidays and took over 500 photos on my ''Canon IXUS 960''. When i connected it to my pc to see all my pictures but i got an error message saying...

you should try some photo recovery software, here are some programs you may rely on. Both programs can also recover videos and music.

Photo Recovery Software (for Windows)
Mac Photo Recovery Software (for Mac OS X)

Note: Before your pictures are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the camera memory card in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.

I have a Canon IXUS 960 IS. The screen shows no image when taking a photo yet shows menu information and works fine for playback. Is this a fault or have I accidently made a wrong setting somewhere. Any...

Try pressing "DISP." which is the small button on the bottom left under the thumb-wheel. That turns on or off the LCD in shooting mode. In Playback mode, it shows shooting information etc.

Lens blur

That means that lens are either misplaced or dirty inside.

The lens assembly must be taken apart at a repair shop to fix this problem.

Ixus 750 Blurred photos shot at a distance greater than a meter.

Check to see that the camera is not in "macro" mode, which would only allow focusing at a close range, but not allow focusing at beyond about 2 meters (look for the "flower" symbol to tell you that macro is activated). Could also be an out of adjustment lens, due to impact or force. Also check to make sure it's not as simple as a dirty lens. Digital cameras are more succeptable to blurry pictures from a smudged lens than film cameras were. Of course, that wouldn't explain why close shots are OK but distant ones aren't. Probably the first two suggestions.

No image -- just colors on led and photo

I found the same fault, but for me it is intermittent. I have tried all sorts of things to clear it, but the best seems to be leave it turned off for a while. I bought my Ixus 400 in Sept 03 and the fault started in Jun 07. It shows already taken pictures with no problem on review on the LED screen, but the screen blurs (with motion) and records that same blurred image.
