I agree.. Its not worth the time or money if your not exprienced in teching inside a fargile and easy to make things worse. most repairs on tablets are reasonable and wont cause more than what a new one would cost..

I think your best solution is to save the $5 and take it to a repair shop for an estimate of the damage

Yes, it can be fixed. Find a PC/Phone repair shop in your area or local mall. Expect a charge from $50-$100. You can also do a DIY with online videos; just buy a replacement screen online. Also seek tech support from the manufacturer who might ask for you to mail the table or to drop off to an authorized repair shop in your area.

Kobo ereader fell on floor just have a blank screen

the lcd backlight called a CCFL tube much like the stip lights
has becomes disjointed or has cracked

if the screen survived uncracked then its worth getting it looked at by someone who knows LCDCCFL and where to gain a replacement

Screen was accidentally cracked, can we get it replaced. it was purshased before Christmas last year 2013.

We need to know the make and model of your tablet. But, it sounds like the LCD and digitizer were both damaged, how much it will cost will depend on make and model.

any phone or computer repair shop should be able to do the job
of course it will cost money so you will have to do something with your dropping it all the time
It could be a medical condition so talk it over with a doctor
