How to down load pics from 2001x phone to pc using usb lead

You can connect the USB lead between pc and phone. The pc should recognise this as a new drive. Go to explorer and view the files in the phone folder and copy across to pc.

You can also use bluetooth to transfer pictures from phone to pc if your pc supports bluetooth.
see manual at this site.

How to Transfer Pictures or Video from your Cellphone/Mobile to your Computer

With the increasing quality of Cellphone camera's , more and more people are wanting to copy their pictures from their phone's to their computers.

There are basically 4 ways to accomplish this.

  1. USB Cable
  2. Bluetooth
  3. Card Transfer
  4. E-mail
# 1 USB Cable

One of the most convenient ways to transfer your pictures is to use the USB cable if your phone was supplied with one. If your phone was not bought with a cable , you can purchase the cable from the store where the the phone was bought.

You will usually also need the manufacturer's software like Nokia pc suite for Nokia phones which can be downloaded from the website of the manufacturer. Here is a list for the most popular phone brands sites.

Nokia
Samsung
Sony-Erricson
Motorola
LG

Many phones also support the option to use the phone as a flash drive so to speak. When you insert a cable , the mobile would typically ask in what mode to use the cable in for instance : Print , Storage or Nokia mode. If you select the storage mode , you may transfer your pictures from the phone the same way you would from a flash drive.

# 2 Bluetooth

If you are using a laptop or bluetooth enabled PC , using bluetooth can also be a handy way to transfer your pictures. To do this , enable bluetooth on you computer and from the taskbar , right click on the bluetooth icon and select recieve a file.

Then on your phone , go the the picture or video you want to send and select options and send via bluetooth. This will vary from phone to phone , so look around for the send with bluetooth option.

Your phone will then search for a computer in range and once you have found your computer , hit the send button.

The transfer will then take place and your computer will ask you where to save the image.

# 3 Card Transfer

Most phones these days have a removable memory card. This is a easy way to transfer a large amount of content from your phone to your computer.

Simply remove the SD or Micro SD card from your phone (refer to your manual) and insert it into a external card reader or your laptop's built in card reading unit.

You may also need a micro to sd converter which can be bought either with a micro SD card or separately from most chain department stores.

You will then be able to transfer the content like you would from your digital camera.

# 4 E-mail

If your cellphone supports e-mail and it is set up , and you only need to transfer one or two pictures , e-mail can be very helpful.

To do this , go to the image you wish to send and in the options , select send via e-mail. This option differs between brands and models so check your manual. You can then simply send the picture to your PC e-mail address and retrieve the image from there.

Please remember to rate this tip if you found it useful.

Kind Regards

I WANT TO CONNECT N 72 TO MY PC

N72 can be connected to your PC in two ways.
1. By USB cable
2.Via Bluetooth.

Bluetooth means you need to buy a device called Bluetooth dongle to provide bluetooth connectivity to your system.

For both usb and bluetooth, you need a software called Nokia PC Suite to access the mobile contents and for data transfer

How can I download and install bluetooth software free from web in my pc to share my mobile content?

hi! bluetooth is not a software. it is a hardware, so you can't download it. you can transfer files through the usb cable, but if you want to do it through bluetooth, you have to buy bluetooth usb for computer. when you do it, then search for devices using your phone. computer bluetooth has a different icon than mobile bluetooth, so you will recognize it easly.

How do I put my photos onto my laptop

You have 3 options;
  1. Data Cable
  2. USB Bluetooth Dongle or a PC with in-built Bluetooth
  3. Memory Card Reader
With a data cable you can transfer the content direct to your PC, all you would need is a Data Cable (obviously) and the appropriate USB Cable Drivers for your phone which can usually be found on the SE website.

With a USB Bluetooth Dongle or a PC with in-built Bluetooth you can transfer the content direct to your PC and you don't need the USB Cable drivers for your SE phone.

With a Memory Card Reader you can simply plug the reader into your PC, copy the content to the appropriate folder on your Memory Card, then put the Memory Card back in your phone.

Cannot transfer photographs from mobile to computer

Most phones these days at the very least have blue-tooth, as mentioned, blue-tooth dongle which sticks into your computer via the USB port makes it very easy to wirelessly transfer files.

Nokia and Motorola phones (speaking from experience) tends to have ‘USB ports’ for connection to the PC via the appropriate USB lead using the manufacturers software, I think Motorola try to charge for it, (though there are other open-source software out there) whilst Nokia is free.

Infa-red. Though I haven’t had a laptop yet that had an infa-red sensor, and I’ve bought some pretty expensive laptops.

Most phones these days have access to the internet GPRS/WAP easy to attach it to an email and send. Although all that data-transferring could become rather costly.

Some phones can automatically upload images to website provided by your operator. I know Orange do this.

Blue tooth

Hi,
providing the mobiles that your trying to connect to are, bluetooth capable devices themselves. it,s the matter of getting the 2 devices to find or recognise each other ( connection Manager ) or device enabled settings.
If your mobile phone is Infa red then the 2 are incompatable. This can sometimes be determined via a little blue flashing light ( hence Bluetooth )
refer to your PDAs user and instruction guide for further assistance.
