This morning I tried turning my laptop on and it started fine, it went to the Dell Logo screen, but then it continued on and went to a black page with an error on it. Everything the previous day had gone fine, nothing unusual happened.
It said it had a booting error so I thought, oh, well I can just use the F12 key and repair my laptop or even restore it if need be. when I starting windows norrmally its become restart. At this point I was concerned. plz help me.

Start and let it boot again and press F8 immediatly and use SAFE MODE to boot,
let the Desktop come up,
once stable shut down and wait for 3 - 4 mins

turn on your computer, and while its booting up, keep pressing f8 till you get to the dos screen, and choose safe mode. lets try to run your pc on safe mode

When you say screen goes very dark when it booted to windows so it means that when you turned on the laptop when the dell logo flashes the screen was fine? if thats the case could you please try this. after turning on the laptop you will see the dell logo flashes immediately keep tapping on F2 and then it will show you the BIOS setup utility, please check if in BIOS setup display goes dark as well. If yes then try this, after turning on the computer when dell logo flashes keep tapping on F12 to boot menu then select utility partition to run the diagnostics. Please run test on the LCD check if display goes black when running the LCD test. Then try this when you sees the dell logo keep tapping on F8 to boot in safe mode check if in safe mode display goes very dark. Try this too, boot in F8 then select last known good configuration check if the settings on your display will be fix. If you can boot to safe mode no problem then uninstall the display or video driver. then restart computer.
You can also try to connect an external monitor if you have one just try to isolate if issue is on the LCD or the video card. If the display is dark as well in external monitor then video card needs to be reseated if fails then replaced. In situation like this most video cards is integrated to the motherboards. So replace motherboard.
my friend had a laptop that did something similar so i got him an lcd ribbon cable replacement off ebay and that fixed it. i dont know if thats whats wrong with yours, but its a possibility. here is a link to a cable on ebay
the display of ur laptop has got damaged....if u still have doubt that it might be some software problem try formatting ur system.. Or else u should go for a change of display screen
Faulty LCD Inverters were causing similar power problems on dell laptops. if you know how you can remove the lcd screen and try run it on an external monitor, if it works, replace the LCD Inverter.
sounds like an unhappy hard drive..can you try F8 when it starts to boot, before the logo hits the screen, that takes it to SAFE mode. try the last known good configuation option, if it is there. otherwise, safe mode
Could you please run the diagonistics on the computer? Turn on the computer. When the DELL logo appears, press <F12> immediately. Select Diagnostics from the boot menu and press <Enter>. NOTE: If you wait too long and the operating system logo appears, continue to wait until you see the Microsoft Windows desktop. Then shut down your computer and try again. b Press and hold the <Fn> key while powering the system on.
Make a note of any errors that you get after running the diagnositcs on the computer.
