Seems to be a tiny microscopic chemical dot or damage on the lens. Or damage of the image sensor. Did you tried to capture the direct sunlight, or did you photographed the sun (few times totally enough). Surely burned the image sensor. Usually occurs when camera being used in bad whether conditions in out side for long time. In you case better consult a professional camera service personal.

My pics are repeatedly blurry

try to check if the front of the lens is clear of any dust and /or fingerprints. also check to see and clean all shiny thing in the front such as your flash and the small circle glasslike on the front because this is where the focusing is connected. If it still doesnt work, the problem could be the lens assembly and this will need service.

I can't take pics with my camera - the buton doesn't even press down. The screen keeps flashing "F_ _ ". I don;'t see this in the manual & have no clue what to do to get it to work. Help?

"F--" usually means that no lens or a non-cpu lens is atached. Try changing camera to manual mode. If that works, then it is the lens, if it doesn't then more than likely it is the camera.

How do I replace the keyboard on a Toshiba Satellite L25-S1215 laptop?

1) Disconnect power and remove battery.
2) Remove the screws indicated in red behind the hinges on the laptop (on the back side above the battery location) As seen in this pic:2d7ab9f.jpg
3) In the battery compartment area unscrew the screws circled in red. Then open the laptop screen slightly so that the whole laptop is in an upside down "V" shape. Unhook the plastic tabs circled in green. As seen in pic: 685d923.jpg

4) Open the screen all the way so that it is parallel with the main body of the laptop. Gently take off the plastic piece above the keyboard by lifting it up in the areas indicated by the yellow arrows. As seen in pic: d17b74a.jpg

5) Lift out keyboard and remove ribbon cable from connector. Be careful not to break cable retainer/tensioner. As seen and described in pics: (first pic is what you see after lifting keyboard)

(This second pic shows and describes how to remove the cable safely from the connector)

6) After connecting new keyboard, reverse the order of steps to assemble.
I hope this is enough detail to help you get the keyboard replaced

HItach cp-s860 problem

I have the same Hitachi CP-S860 and have found the problem is with the convergence on the left and right sides of the picture. The one I am working on has a bad ghosting problem also - you can really see the ghosting when the MENU is on the screen. The center convergence is OK. Following Pics show Circle / Cross pattern - 1st pic the red, green and blue are turned on - 2nd pic shows green and blue on only. I do not have the service manual for this set so I do not know the convergence procedure on this one. I have mostly been repairing NEC, Sanyo, Panasonic and Christie LCD & DLP Projectors.
