Drain it clean it out real good clean out the fuel system end to end. From the line in to the tank thru the filter and so on remove the nozzle clean the screen and nozzle put it all back together. with the top section removed try to start the heater. You should have a fine mist of fuel and spark if it lights shut it down and clean the photo electric eye with a soft cloth and windex. make sure the igniter is clean and close to the fuel mist for ignition, put the top on and turn on your heater.

Propane heater wont stay running

is the sensor for the thermocouple located in the right spot in the flame, remove it and if you have access to a propane torch, heat the end till its red hot and leave it connected to the gas valve, then start the unit and this will tell you if the sensor is properly positioned in the pilot flame on the unit itself,if not you could have a defective new thermocouple or another safety device keeping it from staying lit or the gas valve is faulty

What will happen if I burn a diesel/ gas mix in a reddy heater 55000 multi fuel heater?

Hi, If the heater recommends kerosene or diesel only, and you mix gas into the situation, you will get an explosion and fire loosing not only the heater but most everything else.Unless the spec's say you can since it will use other fuels, gas would be one I would not use, mixed or not, like I say only if it says you can. At 70,000 B.T.U.s, as it says above, this Reddy heater burns hot anyway, and I don't want to put you in a dangerous situation by saying yes, go right ahead? So please check first, I would say no way. Good Luck, and Sincerely, Shastalaker7

Reddy Heater Doesn't fully ignite

First thing I would do is clean all of your air and fuel filters and check your lines for breaks. A lot of times they will do that if your not getting enough air to fuel mix. If it continues after that it's the CAD/ flame sensor which you can get from MR. Heater for 3 bucks they are all basically the same and I know reddy heater wants 18 for the same thing.

Reddy r200b keroseen heater will not ignite

CAD flame sensor is bad, also check your air inlet line for the fuel mix, could be cracked.
