No sound or sound from my wii on a sony bravia 42"

If your TV is a month old call sony and get the TV serviced or exchanged. You are covered under warranty.

it all depends on model of sony bravia tv, the wii comes with a scart adapter that the white red and yellow phono plugs, plug into so justr use the scart socket , if you have no scart sockets plug the three leads into the composite plugs on the tv

you should be able to connect the wii to a port at the back as well try doing that cause sometimes you don't get a full connection using the side ports if that doesn't work then make sure all cables are not loose that is the main cause of lose of sound or picture

Sounds like main board issues

Unplug,replug the tv about an hour later.Let the tv reset it self.Go to the menu,go to Audio setting,go down reset.The tv audio will work again.Not,than ur Tuner board is dead.Must be repalced.

If this is the model I am thinking of, don't bother fixing it. Call up sony and they will should offer you an new sony bravia lcd tv. You can either get the free one or upgrade from the free one to a bigger one. I guess that there is some recall with the light engine and sony is giving out this offer. This happened to my grandma to her 42" grand wega. The ending result was that she got a 46" 120hz sony bravia tv for, if I remember right, $250. I hope that this helps. Probable power supply

There is usualy a 2nd channel for games like example - video 1 is video games but hear the tv, video 2 is videogames and hear Wii. Hope it helps

Try going in the settings and turning off "Steady sound". Or turn the audio setting to stereo, disable surround sound.
