Hi there, To do a factory restore you will need to use the Restore CD's that came with the Computer. If you dont have them i would advise getting them from HP.
The DVD drive should have one or two small phillips head screws on the side that will allow you to slide the drive out through the front of the PC. Just be careful that you don't damage the ribbon cable when you do this.
