How to wire 2/1 channel XPE2700 in stereo/bridged mode?

for stereo wiring, you get the most power with dual 2 ohm loads, in mono, you want a single 4 ohm load, or 2x2 ohm loads

How do i get full power out of my kenwood kac-1520s amplifier hooked up to two 12" audiobahn 400 watt subwoofers

Your amp is under powered for those speakers (350 max. watt). Even if your subs were 2 ohm your amp will only put out 75 watts X 2 at 2 ohms, if you bridge that amp you might be asking for trouble . I'm guessing there both 4 ohm. Look around for a 2 ohm stable mono amp with more power and you won't be sorry. Ray

I have 2 dvc 4 ohm alpine type r 15's and 2 svc american bass

Hi mate very nice amp you got there here is the specs for it

Model: MA Audio HK401SX
Hard Kore Series 1800 Watt 1 Channel High Performance Class X Car Amplifier
1 x 1800W RMS @ 0.5 Ohm Mono
1 x 1200W RMS @ 1 Ohm Mono
1 x 650W RMS @ 2 Ohm Mono
1 x 500W RMS @ 4 Ohm Mono
Fully Unregulated MOSFET Power Supply
2 Ohm Stable @ Mono
1 Ohm Stable @ Mono
0.5 Ohm Stable @ Mono

if you have 2 12s just bridge them and you will have 650wrms at 2ohm running to them or one sub at 4 ohm 500w rms ps they should pump iam running 2 12s with just 360rms at 2ohm and they do the job good luck

AMP

That amplifier is only stable to 2 ohms.
You will only be able to use one Dual 4 ohm Subwoofer wired in parallel (all + to + on amp.... all - to - on amp.
This will yield a 2 ohm mono load.

It is impossible to wire (2) dual 4 ohm voicecoils to achieve a 2 ohm mono load.

If you're set on using both subwoofers - they will not be getting as much power from your amplifier with a 4 ohm load - but it is your only option.

SHOULD I GO AHEAD AND BUY A 400 WATT AMP?

All amps aren't created equal. More exspense amps put out "cleaner" power. You need to know what the RMS power rating is for the amp at 8 ohms and 4 ohms. Also, is the speaker an 8 or 4 ohm speaker? How you wire a speaker or speakers (series or paralell) can change the ohms (resistence) which will change the power put out of the amp. Also, I'm assuming you are setting it up in mono?
