Hi, I have Sony Cybershot DSC w320 digital camera of 14.1 MP. Can you please tell me how I can take the pictures on less Mega Pixcal so that the size of file get reduced. Thanks, Prateek

Hi,
The image size determines the size of the image file that is recorded when you take an image. The larger the image size, the more detail will be reproduced when the image is printed on large format paper. The smaller the image size, the more images can be recorded. To change the Image Size in the Camera, press and select the MENU-->Image Size-->Desired Size [(640×480)VGA or (2592×1944)5M] The quality of the VGA Image is very less when compared to the 14M.

On the Cybershot DSC-W320. When playing back a still picture. I can zoom into the picture no problem. The problem is how to save the zoomed picture ?

That's called "cropping" and can be accomplished in photo-editing software.
