Camedia Master I have been using Camedia Master on my computer to edit my photos, for some time now. I like it very much. We have recently bought a new computer however, with Vista already installed. The program has worked fine until recently, but now when I try to use it, I get the message "A problem stopped the program working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." That is all that appears to happen, & I hear nothing from Windows! I just cannot use my view & edit program any more! Can you help?

How to transfer photos taken by an Olympus Camedia C-1000 L to a computer?

To transfer photos taken by an Olympus Camedia C-1000L camera to a computer, you can use the following method:
  1. Connect the camera to the computer using a USB cable.
  2. Turn on the camera and set it to the "PC" or "Computer" mode.
  3. On your computer, a new drive or a pop-up window should appear, indicating that the camera has been recognized.
  4. Open the drive or window and navigate to the folder where your photos are stored.
  5. Select the photos you want to transfer and copy them to your computer by using drag and drop or "Copy" and "Paste" functions.
Alternatively, you can use the Olympus Camedia Master software that came with the camera to transfer photos. Once connected and the software is open, you will be able to see the camera's content, then you can select and transfer the photos to your computer.
It's important to keep in mind that the Olympus Camedia C-1000L is an older model camera, which may not be compatible with the latest version of computer operating systems, so it's recommended to check the software and the operating system compatibility before transferring the photos.

I have a new Dell computer using Windows 7 andd have installed software Camedia Master 4.1 for my C-740 camera. The master page can be accessed but when I try to download photos from camera using the USB...

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Windows Photo Gallery or any other photo cataloging program.

I'm not able to get into my Camedia Master file. When I click on it, Message box says: Quik Time 4 or more is not installed and needs to be updated

Had the same problems with Camedia You dont need the disc to download to computer.Take the card from the camera and put it into the card reader on your computer if one is fitted, if not you need one that goes into a USB slot When the card is inserted into the reader a box will open on the screen with several options as to view images or download them.

I would also download Picasa 3 which finds all the photos on your hard drive and puts them in date order and also has photo editing. This is a free download and is part of google.

My pc can't find my C765 camedia zoom camera

That depends - what operating system is running on your computer? If you are running Vista it is because Camedia Master is not compatible with that operating system.
