I have put vista on my dell inspiron 2200. The problem is that i can not use movie maker because is says that my video card or driver does not support the required level of hardware acceleration. What can i do about this?
I have a 2200 and they're not made to run Vista (I'm not sure anything is). Put XP back in and enjoy the use of your laptop. You'll get nothing but headaches trying to run Vista with it.

The display limit is determined by the LCD design. IN this case, you have an XGA LCD resolution 1024 x 768 pixels. This is a hard wired resolution and can only be changed by exchanging the XGA LCD for a higher resolution one (SXGA or higher, likeky not an available option for an Inspitorn 2200)
