The timer is the most common problem. Call any appliance parts store and tell them the model number and ask for price for new timer. Also call sears appliance parts and get price. But a new timer and install it.
so it dosent make any noise?your lid switch will stop it from draining and spinning but it will agaite on most kenmore waskers.if i came to repair that would be my starting point
If it has a mechanical timer switch, (the main control knob) that is possibly the culprit. The timer switch is basically the "brain" of this type of washer. I had this problem on a washer.
