It's likely that there are shorted output transistors in at least one channel. If you want to repair it yourself, you'd have to determine which transistors are defective and replace them. The following page will help guide you through the basic troubleshooting.

You need to check the transistors. Pull the clamps off of the transistors (after disconnecting the amp from the power source) and give me the numbers on the transistors. There will be multiple transistors with the same number. Give me the 5 or 6 numbers common to the groups of transistors. For example, you will likely have several with the number Z44. Others will likely begin with an A or a C.

you are being very helpful. but now i need to know once i removed the back of the zx8300 an after removing the screws on the board. what do i need to do to get the board out? it has eleven grey brackets holding the board down. thank you in advance for your help again.
