I need help to set up my Olympus SP-600UZ camera digital. I already have the USB cable hooked up to the computer and to the camera. The computer read that the camera was ready for use. When I disconnected the cable and went to the menu on the camer. The year time and date was blank. So, I am at a loss.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
After you connect the camera make sure you power up the camera and sometimes you have to choose usb mode. If that does not work, go to my computer and choose removable drive and you can access your pictures that way too.
Hello, I do not know how you tried to unload your videos,if you tried with special cable of your camera sometimes such errors are inevitable. therefore,the
best way to unload the pictures / videos please try to obtain / buy a USB multi
memory card reader (it is about 5,00-8,00 USD ) and take your memory
card out of camera ,plug into card reader,USB to computer ,here it is
,your pictures and videos are there ( to be seen as external Hard disc on your PC) After loading them into PC you can work/edit on these videos but you need a special video editing software.You camera CD may have it.Good luck Regards.
