Samsung has had some issues with stands that are screwed in to panel have cause video issues from pressure to panel. Some times removing the screws from base can relieve this problem. From what you are discribing though i would think that you probably have a bad main board. You definitely need a technician to check this out.

It sounds like T-CON board (mounted under the metal shield mid top section of the screen) problem. You can try cooling it with electronicn freeze spray for electronics torubleshooting to see if the problem goes away.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools, electronics knowledge, and know safety precaution then please read on:

I have a samsung lcd tv that powers on has sound but the picture is fuzzy and has no colour . What would be the component that needs replacing for this ??

Hello. Before you start replacing parts, make sure your connections are correct. It sounds like you have connected a composite source to a component input. Composite is three RCA plugs, a yellow for all of the video, and a red and white for audio left and right channels. Component is five RCA cables, green, red and blue for video, and red and white for audio. if composite is connected to a component input, the picture will be black and white with squiggly lines all through it.

I have a brand new samsung 46' lcd tv and the picture is not crisp it is very fuzzy?? What do I do?

More than likely your set is fine and you need to provide it with a HD signal. Contact your cable or satellite provider for an upgrade

Blinking red and green squares with blue fuzzy bars in the back

Before thinking of TV problem, you should play a DVD first and see how it goes. TV problem only happens when all sources were affected. If you have the same problem for all sources, open the cover, disconnect LVDS cable and re-connect it; then try to tap or shake gently the LVDS cable and see if the picture changes. If yes, replace LVDS cable. If not, then measure the power on supplies from main board to power supply board, see this 5 VDC is stable or not. If it works fine, the problem may come from T-con board or some case from defective panel.

Picture goes off after a while

Call 1-800-Samsung to set up a warranty service call. They will repair it in your home if they send a Samsung Field Engineer. You probably have a bad Main bd.

Skewed picture

Is it a projection? DLP? LCD? etc... depending on the type the suspicion i have is it is out of focus.  The symptom of writing triplicate comes from the thing being out of wack.. a tech needs to fix it.  all this is assuming ;you have a projection tv of some sort.

I haven't found the cause. I find that leaving it switched on overnight cures it.
