SOURCE: ac power cord for HP vf51 flat panel monitor

Good Day Tricia,

I had to pull up you owner's manual to get the spec's on your cord, so if you need the manual follow this link:

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/bph08231.pdf

Anyway after reading the spec's you need an AC-DC power supply that outputs 12volts at 3.3amps. What makes this difficult to find is the 3.3amps, most aftermarket power supply only go up to 2amps. So what's next? Well you can order directly through HP at this link:

http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main?sel_flg=partlist&model=P4824A&HP_model=&modname=HP+vf51+15-inch+LCD+flat+panel+display&template=main&plist_sval=Power+Cord&plist_styp=subcat&dealer_id=&callingsite=&strsrch=&keysel=Power+Cord&catsel=%3F
If you do this make sure get part 8121-0740 if you live in the states, or part 8121-0731 if you live in europe.

The only other suggestion I can give is to bring the monitor into a radioshack and see if they have a 12VDC 3.3AMP (you can get a universal with higher amperage if needed, the monitor will only draw the 3.3 it needs even if it is supplied more) and the reason I say bring it in is so they can match the size of the plug that goes into the monitor, as there are about 20 diffrent diameters's. Again the problem you may have is finding one with a high enouge amperage.

I hope this helps

Good Luck

SOURCE: Iiyama Prolite 434S monitor is too dark

Dim or dark display can be caused by a faulty inverter board or faulty CCFL lamp. The inverter supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp, the CCFL lamp is a miniture fluro tube and these dim with age.

I recently moved and lost the power cable for ny Westinghouse LCD Flarscreen TV. How can I get a replacement and the cost.

You can get one online for only a few bucks...look at the male plug on the set, there are 3 kinds of plugs used, one is like a computer monitor 3 prong plug, another is a 2 prong round on one side and square on the other and the 3rd is a 3 prong but its rounded on the ends, unfortunatly there are a few models that use a transformer hopefully yours isn't one like that...here is the most common one in Westinghouse....https://www.ebay.com/itm/AC-Power-Cord-Cable-for-Westinghouse-LCD-TV-10-Feet-10Ft-Extra-Long-/172208931835?epid=1970030091&hash=item281873c3fb:g:wb4AAOSwIzNXOfJD

Iiyama prolite e1902wsv white screen , no picture

From time to time, I've the same white screen problem with my IIYAMA E1902WSV.

I can resolve that issue with a reset to factory settings.
1- Turn ON power (blue led)
2- Push on the MENU button and keep the button pushed while
pulling out the power cord.
3- Plug the power cord back while keeping the MENU button
pushed.

You should see the picture again.

PC monitor wont come on.

Check that the power cord is fully plugged in first.

It is probably the inverter board inside the monitor.
(if the screen does properly display ever then it is not the screen)
It CAN be fixed but I do not suggest anyone open up a monitor (LCD or CRT) who is not "technically inclined."

If you really want to fix this particular one then take it to a local tech and get an estimate first. If it's almost as much as a new monitor then buy a new one.

Need new power cord for x2gen monitor

You should be able to go to any local store like BestBuy and pick up a power cable. The monitor uses the same power cable as a Desktop PC.
