Yes i have a 1999 ford expedition eddie bauer 4x4 from brand new or at lease 1200 miles . Recently i had a fuel pump problems and i have had a new fuel pump and ascending unit install professionally but now the fuel guage dosent work , i have had it one shop so far and now its to a second one but it sames that he to has been having problems fixing it ,because of the length of time it was there. They told me that first the instrument cluster was bad so i bought another one and thats not the problem either because the fuel guage still dosen't work and like the other one before i change it every other guage works on the cluster but the fuel just like the first one before i change it. so if u can help me i would be fine.

The fault maybe with the fuel tank sender unit or wiring. Some manufactures do not send new fuel level sensors fitted to the new pump unit. Meaning that the old one needs to be removed from the faulty pump and fitted to the new one. If this is the case here, it might not of been swapped over, or plugged in properly. Also if the tank was removed to do this job they may over damaged the wiring during removal or installation

I have a 99 ford expedition eddie bauer 5.4 v8 4x4 & everything has been running perfect I had my oil changed within a week a knocking noise where the engine is started not sure if its belts or rods?
Histart the car while you look under the bonnet for the noyse,
you can get a stepherscope off ebay to make it easyer to pin point the noyse,all the best.

Where is the low a/c port on 2001 ford expedition eddie bauer 5.4 engine 4x4
Facing the front of the truck it is on the left side of the firewall under neath the dryer follow the hoses from the condenser to the fire wall there is a silver dryer cylinder under the wiring harness it is at the bottom of that. Hard to see without flashlight may have to remove the wiring harness from the firewall for easier access

It's on the side of the transmission under the drivers door. The shift cable runs to the control arm it is under.

There could be many reasons for it stalling out at lights. The first things I would check is the battery and alternator. The auto parts stores will check both for free.

I need to know what fuse that powers the fuel pump in my 1999 ford expedition it has a 5.4 va 4 wheel drive
OK, there are fuses on the driver's side down below.

But, if you are having a fuel pump problem, it's likely that the fuse is alright and you need to replace the fuel pump. Same thing happened to our 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition. It quit working. And the inertia fuel cutoff switch didn't help, either (flipping or pushing it).

So, if you have no fuel coming, it may very well be the fuel pump.

We changed ours around 112000mi.

Location of Shift Solenoid in 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer?
They are round "cans" with wires attached. You should have SSA, SSB, SSC, Torque converter and Pressure Control solenoids. They control pressures and have no mechanical linkage.
