My Panasonic NV-GX7 is in Japanese.. I can't understand it. need help in changing the language of this thing...com

most of the nv-gs50 cannot support multi-language (i.e. the ones manu/bought in japan).

you may be able to find a firmware update, but i would not recommend it---i.e. you are stuck with japanese

Download the driver from the site then in the help menu go to the language setup. You might have to guess your way around in this but refer to Panasonics other insturuction manuals you should know when you scroll to the english section. Also refered to as nv-gs50e or nv-gs70e. Go to http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Drivers-and-Downloads/list-75489-Camcorders#Anchor_13 it will be the third driver from the BOTTOM. This model has been discontinued so support for later windows editions are not likely. Windows 2000 is the last version you can always run your compatabilty mode with 2000 for optimum preformance.
