Canon a95 turns on and shows CANON on LCD screen but does not show an image from the lens. it sounds like it is taking a picture and will flash but there is no image on the card. the lcd screen will show older images that are on the card but all new pics are blank(black). batterys are new and the camera is set on auto. screen will also show menu functions. thanks DP
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
