Somehow your MBR (Master Boot Record) likely got corrupted or possibly your hard drive went bad coincidentally.
Simply, you will start your computer from your Windows CD/DVD install disk, then when at a DOS prompt ( D:\ ) you will then type: FDISK /MBR (press enter).

The windows files are corrupted or the hard drive has issues, load cd installation disc if available, if that fails have the hardware checked for possible replacement.
Is it possible that you have installed winxp twice? You say that you installed XP Pro sp3 was that an upgrade from xp home? if so then you will need to uninstall one or both versions of XP then install only one.. Make sure you backup any important files first though
You have a virus most likely. You will need to boot with an antivirus cd & let it scan & repair the virus damage. After this is done you should have control of your system again. Hope this helps.
Download and install the correct driver for the monito as well as the deiver for your video card, if the video is onboard, you may need the motherboard and AGP driver as well. You will probably need to boot in Safemode to do this.
