No Sound in Right Front Speaker- Denon AVR-1508

Just bought new Denon AVR-1508. No sound coming out of right front speaker. I have checked all speaker wires and the speakers themselves. I also swapped the speaker wires on the back receiver ( so that right was outputing to left speaker) and same problem, so have determined it is something with the receiver's audio output to the right front.

Thanks in advance for help!

I believe I had set the settings, but will check again. I am getting a faint humming noise from the right front speaker, which tells me it is getting some sort of signal.

I only have just one right and one left speaker (no separate woofer or tweater connections), no center, no sub woofer, no surround speakers.

The FRONT SPEAKERS L/R and SURR BACK
SPEAKERS L/R terminal posts can be used with front
speakers and surround back speakers respectively, or biamped
to provide separate tweeter and woofer feeds for
a pair of front speakers that support bi-amping, providing
    improved bass and treble performance.
    • When bi-amping is used, the AV receiver/AV amplifier
is able to drive up to 5.1 speakers in the main
    room.
    • For bi-amping, the FRONT SPEAKERS L/R terminal
posts connect to the front speakers’ tweeter terminals.
And the SURR BACK SPEAKERS L/R terminal
posts connect to the front speakers’ woofer terminals.
    • Once you’ve completed the bi-amping connections
shown below and turned on the AV receiver/AV
amplifier, you must set the Speakers Type setting to
    Bi-Amp to enable biampin

How do I add a 2 channel amp to a Denon avr 2307ci

To add a 2-channel amplifier to your Denon AVR 2307ci receiver, you can follow these general steps:
1. Determine the amplifier connection type: Check the specifications of your 2-channel amplifier and identify the available input and output options. Common connection types include RCA (analog) and speaker wire (for binding posts or terminals).
2. Identify the pre-out connections on your Denon AVR: Locate the pre-out connections on the back of your Denon AVR 2307ci receiver. These are typically labeled as "Pre Out" or "Preamp Out" and may be color-coded. You will need to find the pre-out connections for the front left and right channels.
3. Connect the RCA cables: If your amplifier has RCA inputs, use RCA cables to connect the pre-out connections of the Denon AVR to the corresponding inputs on the amplifier. Connect the left channel pre-out on the Denon to the left channel input on the amplifier, and do the same for the right channel.
4. Connect the speaker wires: If your amplifier uses speaker wire connections, connect the front left and right speaker outputs of the Denon AVR to the corresponding inputs on the amplifier using speaker wire. Make sure to observe the proper polarity (positive and negative) when connecting the wires.
5. Configure the Denon AVR settings: Access the setup menu of the Denon AVR by using the remote control or the front panel display. Navigate to the audio settings or speaker configuration section. Look for an option to enable "Preamp Mode" or "Preamp Outputs." Enable this option to ensure that the front left and right channels are redirected to the pre-out connections.
6. Set the amplifier to the correct input: If your amplifier has multiple inputs, select the input that corresponds to the connection from the Denon AVR.
7. Adjust volume and settings: After completing the connections, you may need to adjust the volume levels on both the Denon AVR and the amplifier. Use the Denon AVR as the primary volume control and adjust the amplifier's volume accordingly.
It's important to consult the user manuals for both your Denon AVR 2307ci and the 2-channel amplifier to ensure proper setup and compatibility. If you're uncertain about any specific steps or settings, it's advisable to consult the manuals or reach out to Denon customer support for assistance.

AVR-1508 7.1 Channels Receiver: My Denon AVR-1508 won't stay on. Once I try to tak...

Not familiar with this model but seems like the protection circuit is kicking in, this could be caused by an imbalance of Ohms between channels or a short. remove & check all speakers and cables for continuity or shorts, does the unit power on without speakers or in a different mode (surround off).
always add speakers in pairs (L&R) before testing to prevent possible protection circuit, test main speaker pair first then add surrounds (all according to the allowable Ohms range for the amp of course)

Weird surround sound speaker behavior with Denon 2105 7.1

Sounds interesting.
It may sound silly, but can you check all your speaker cables again and confirm whether they are connected to the right connections. please check all cables as also the severed one and please repair it also.

Now please go to the system-set-up and do an auto setup and set up your speakers. Listen to the test tones and confirm that they are coming out of the correct speaker.

Once these are set, then if still there is mismatch of sounds, then we could further trouble shoot.

No sound/test tone front front right channel

1-make a reset to your system.2-repeat your speaker setup.3-confirm that you assign your sysem for 5 chanell surround system.-4-change the cables between left and right front speakers if the trouble go to left channel you will have a problem in receiver itself-if the problem exict you will have a problem in speaker itself(cable or speaker)
