NOKIA 6260 - TURNS ON AND OFF AUTOMATICALLY AFTER EVERY 3 MINUTES

Guys,
I have tried every trick in the bag. My phone keeps turning on and off after every three minutes. It turns off during the calls as well.

    my 6260 nokia keeps turning on and off by itself every after 3-5 minutes....what shall i do please help me solve my problem!!!!

Besides the standard remove your battery an reset your system, it would suggest you talk with nokia support, your phone might need to be set in for repair. They are fairly quick in response time if you e-mail them a question (if you are worried about your phone cutting off during the call). How to reformat a nokia 6260
hi,
While turning on your phone press : 3 + * + Green Button for picking up the phone.
If the phone turns on you will see a title: FORMATTING...
You have to do the formating with full battery!!!

I want to 6260 mobile phone format
Turn phone off, press and hold the green (talk) key on the left + number 3 on the keypad + the * key and then turn the phone back on.

The phone will start the formatting process without confirmation!

Need to formatting nokia 6260 mobile
Switch the phone off. Hold the following 3 keys down and turn on:
3 , * and the green phone key

This will reset back to factory defaults but will completely wipe the phone of all data (your contacts, messages etc). Just follow the onscreen instructions - it will prompt you for your security PIN, the default is 12345. Good luck.

My Nokia n73 turn's off automatically
check your battery if its properly / safely enclosed. try to reformat it by pressing (*)(3)(call key) upon startup..make sure your battery is full while doing reformat.

here everything will be deleted and your memory will be cleaned.

some cause would be because your phone has virus. so that made your system failed and eventually it turned off.
