DEW means it's got damp inside the camera body and it must dry out. A warm setting on a hair-dryer (NOT TO HOT) should do or just leave the cassette housing ejected in a warm room overnight is best this should solve the problem. .
Now prices have come down so much and quality so high you might want to get a new one.
But we all love our old cameras so if you have a heater and a fan let it dry out for a whole day. Even a D-humidifier would do the trick in 24 hours. Use a tape cleaner after that to get the heads back up to perfect taping ability.
