When I turn on the machine it just says flushing and won't go any further.

If you flushed the coolant with the thermostat in, chances are you didn't flush the coolant. Regardless, it's easiest to check the controls inside first. Does the blower fan work? Does the air flow change from floor to vent, to dash as it's supposed to? Does the A/C change temps when knob is turned from cold to hot? Post results.

Give the machine a proper service and clean out the carbs. Petrol goes off and a part of it evaporates leaving a nasty sludge behind. This will cause bits to block the jets. It is also worth emptying the fuel tank and flushing it out with a little bit of fresh fuel. Then refill with fresh fuel.

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC15. Your machine is equipped with a safety device which shuts off the brushbar if something - for example, a rug fringe or a shoelace - jams it. If the brushbar won't rotate, you may simply need to reset the cleaner.

To do this, please follow the steps shown in the video below - ensure you have the machine reclined into the vacuuming position before testing it, as the brushbar will never rotate when the machine is standing upright.

If you have positioned the frother properly and there is an adequate amount of milk and the frother still not working then there might be some kind of damage to the internal parts of the machine.

Hi,

If happens that the machine already detects the battery is already defective it will give that kind of message, the machine will not turn on unless the battery is already been replaced to prevent further failure on the machine, so the only way to fix it is to replace the battery.
