Hi. I have a two-year old 56 inch HL-T5687S -- I have sound and picture, but then picture turns black and sound keeps playing . I turn off TV, wait a bit, and TV pic comes back on... then black after 2-15 minutes. I can repeat this process for a long time. I called Samsung two weeks ago and was told authorized repair company would call. Ha. Never called. Called Fios and they've been great. Sent new cables and then STB -- they say they have problems with Samsung TVs. Surprise, surprise. Of course it's out of warranty. Today, tried WII console and then DVD --which I believe are separate from new STB -- and both worked for 30 minutes or so, then screen went blank, with sound on. Is this really a TV issue and has anyone seen this problem before? I have no faith in Samsung after reading the commentaries by people with the same problem. Seems they are not helpful at all. I get the feeling that this is a problem that happens over and over again for Samsung and they're keeping it on the QT for fear of a class action law suit. Sounds like a good idea. My question: Does this seem like a TV issue now that I narrowed down the problem? What might be the solution. THANKS everyone who will reply. Most appreciative. Rob
