I can help you with your Sandisk Cruzer USB drive problem.

Sandisk Cruzer's are fairly unique in so far as they don't just appear in your My Computer window the way that every other USB drive I've ever used does.

Instead, Sandisk Cruzer's use a terribly 'helpful' piece of software that takes time to load every time you plug it in.

Here are the steps:

  1. Plug in your Sandisk Cruzer USB drive.
  2. Sit back and wait. Don't touch anything.
  3. If it is connected properly, the 'slide' bit will light up orange, at first flashing, eventually solid.
  4. When the orange Sandisk logo appears on your desktop, the drive is ready to use.
  5. Clicking on the Sandisk logo will bring up a menu.
  6. Click the 'Explore Drive' option to bring up a windows explorer screen of the USB drive.
  7. When you are done with the Cruzer, return to the Sandisk Menu App and select 'Eject' to prepare the USB drive for removal. (Just pulling it out without 'ejecting' it will destroy all your data 1 time out of 50 or 100, so always use the eject feature.)

I hope that helps.

Does not pick up .brushes not turning,

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC15. Please note the brushbar will never rotate when the cleaner is standing in the upright position, or if you've used the brush control switch next to the on/off switch to turn the brushbar off. The brushbar is also designed to cut out if it becomes tangled with a rug fringe, etc.

To check everything is correct with your machine, please follow the simple steps shown in our online guide:

http://www.dyson.com/support/help.asp?article=813&product=DC15-ANIMAL

If you've followed these steps and are still having issues, please get in touch with us directly so one of our experts can run through some troubleshooting with you over the phone. You can call us free on 08002980298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US).

Kind regards,

Sylvania (SRD3900) DVD Player / VCR Combo i can't seem to plug in the red/white/yellow cables into the right places directly to my old toshiba tv to play either tapes or dvds. can you instruct me? thanks.

Greetings - It's very simple so I'll show you how and then I think it may be another problem (nothing broken).

mikeywaf_33.gif

You need to plug the corresponding color cables into to outputs on your player I've circled above and then into the corresponding inputs on the TV. You've probably done this correctly.
PLUS - You have to, using the remote for the player, set the source to either DVD or VCR and then you have to, finally, on your TV set the input (with the remote) to what is called probably VIDEO or VIDEO1. If there is still nothing on the screen keep (with the DVD or Tape playing) hitting the TV remote input button until you see an image or you've come around to where you started.

Unless something is broken (unlikely) you should be able to watch DVD's or Tapes depending on what input you select on the player.

If it's not working you've somehow missed a step or the Video input on the TV is called something else. If that happens come back here and give the player AND TV brand/model info and someone will be able resolve your problem.

Good Luck and thanks for using Fix Ya.

I forgot my password to login to my dell 530s

This is actually a simple one...but it takes a little patience. You need to first open up the computer itself (if you need directions on how to do this, either follow the instructions in the owner's manual or leave me a message here & I'll give you step-by-step directions). Once inside, you'll need to locate the the CMOS password jumpers so you can reset them. These instructions are also in the owner's manual. The manual can help you through a lot, even though the illustrations they give may be not be as helpful as they could be. Let me know how it goes. I've actually had to do this, but I have a little experience in working inside computers. Good luck.

Please help

hello!

are you trying to access the router setup?
are you trying to configure the router?

i have read the same problem on the supportrix forum and you may try this simple steps and see if this help solve your problem. make sure your computer is directly connected to the router

Step 1: Shutdown the computer.
Step 2: reset the router while power on then Unplug the router’s power cable.
Step 3: Unplug the Broadband modem’s power cable and wait for 30 seconds.
Step 4: Plug in the Broadband modem’s power cable and wait for its lights to appear stable.
Step 5: Plug in the router's power cable once the modem’s lights appear stable.
Step 6: Power on the computer on and configure the router settings
Step 7: test the Internet connection.

if this still didnot work, upgrade the firmware of your router and repeat the same steps.

note:

configuring the router settings will depends who is your provider. if your isp is dsl you need to configure your ISP username (email address format) and password on the router. if your router is a cable no need to change any settings on the router. it should automatically work
