Mad Catz MC2 Universal (6320) Wheel And Pedals Set Logo
Posted on Aug 20, 2010

I have just received a Madcatz MC2 wheel for the XBOX360 that I purchaced on ebay. However I cannot find out how to connect it as the lead from the wheel has a round plug and I can only assume that I need a USB plug to fit it to the front of my console? Is this something that the seller has failed to supply?

You have to go to amazon and type in "XBOX Controller to PC / MAC USB Cable Adapter" it only cost $4 plus shipping i had to do it to get my Mad Catz wheel to work with xbox 360. I paid $10 for mine rather then a hundered and works fine with all games.

What you need is an HDE Xbox 360 USB Breakaway Cable.

How do I take apart Madcatz mc2 pedal set

I started having trouble with my brakes and throttle either not operating or operating sporadically (MC2 pedal set). I tried slightly jiggling the cord near the connection on the steering wheel base and found I could get the pedal set operating again. To keep the pedal set operating while I play (drive), I drape the pedal set cord over the steering wheel set gear shift. Amazingly, that one difference keeps the pedal set operating consistently. By the way, I had ordered another pedal set in the box on E-Bay when I found this draping technique worked. The E-Bay set is still in the box in my closet as a back-up. Don't need it ... yet. This is what I have been doing since the issue occurred about two years ago. Hope this resolves your issues.

Why won't my universal mc2 wheel work with my xbox 360, are these not compatible. None of the output leads would fit into the xbox 360, so I actually got an adapter lead that fits into one of the 3...

There should be a USB cable that came with the wheel that connects directly to the Xbox 360. Are referring to the Madcatz MC2? If so then you might be missing the USB cable connector? You can't modify the other inputs to feed into the Xbox 360. You need to use the cable that comes with the wheel.

Also, some games are not compatible with the wheel.

Wheel will not register/function or anything, tried unplugging and rebooting ps2-still nothing

MadCatz Racing Wheel does not support devices with a USB plugged into a port specificly. This is of course if you're indeed using it. Also, some games will not support the MadCatz racing wheel directly. Many games are not designed to work with it. So check online for documentation on it.

Mad cats mc2 with pedals

The easiest way to do this is to go online and order a PS2 controller to PC adapter on amazon.com or some other site. I have a Madcatz MC2 and a Ps2 controller to PC adapter (a cheap one -_-") and it works okay (I'm having a lot of trouble with the pedals though).
