You will need a dual shock 2 ps2 controller. The mad catz controller is probably a dual shock 1 controller. Some games require the dual shock 2. It should say on the back of the game if the dual shock 2 is required. If it says something along the lines of "pressure sensitivity" or "pressure sensitive" on the back of the game case (where it says "1 player" or "2 player") ... then you will need a dual shock 2 controller. If this is not the case and it only says "analog controller" and "vibration" then you won't need the dual shock 2 controller. If the controller doesn't work for any games or even on the console main screen, then it must be the controller that is broken. Try turning the system on without a game in it and see if the controller works. Hope this helped :-)

I have a mad catz steering wheel and pedals for a pc. Can it be hooked up to a ps2?

No. But...

search for "peripheral adapters", because it used to be you couldn't use a keyboard and mouse with console games but now a few companies actually make hardware that allow you to plug in USB devices to use with PS/3-Xbox, etc. So, probably still no on PS/2 but maybe searching under ps2 hacks might find some ingenious hardware wizards?

How do I get my mad catz call of duty blk ops controller to sync to my ps2 when I try 4 lights just blink across the controller with or without the han cable

This particular controller is not for the PS2 thats why you can't connect it. The control is only meant to be used on the PS3.

How do I get my Mad Catz wireless controller for ps2 to work? Not sure which buttons to press on controller to get it to work.

If the reciever is plugged into the console it should just work. There IS a power button on Mad Catz. Make sure it's turned on but other than that it should work. It doesn't need to be synced to the reciever. It was made already synced. Check the batteries. Make sure the reciever is plugged all the way in.

Mad cats mc2 with pedals

The easiest way to do this is to go online and order a PS2 controller to PC adapter on amazon.com or some other site. I have a Madcatz MC2 and a Ps2 controller to PC adapter (a cheap one -_-") and it works okay (I'm having a lot of trouble with the pedals though).
