I want to play hunting unlimited 4 but then it says my prism3d has stopped working instantly,

Hunting Unlimited 2011 did the same thing to me when I tried to play. I installed it on Windows XP no problems. I don't know where on my laptop but it listed operating systems & I checked Vista & the software played just fine.

Those dang PETA people have found a way to stop us from fake hunting too????????? Compaq and PETA huh?.....gotta be a conspiracy!

you will need more memory and buy a video card to play these up to date games on this system.

well i have the exact same problem and i have a pc with windows vista, i've hurd people say that its something to do with vista but i have friends who also have vista on pc and laptops n they work just fine but with me, i cant save the games, i cant do target range and after pressing target range i cant play or even exit THE GAME!! i allways have to do Ctrl+Alt+Del....and when its closing it says Prism3d engin has stoped working...Its anoying me because i duno what else to do some one please Help me!!..

This error message is stating that you need to update your video card drivers.

I did some more research on the web and I found this reply. This was in reply to a mother who bought the Unlimited Hunting for her son and was getting the same error...also make sure you graphics card can handle 3D..

After much research on the web for this problem, it could be you need to update your video card, with any updates that you can find on the manufacturer's website.
You can also go to Start/Search (or Find), then type in PRISM3D.LOG

When you find it, left double click on it to open it, then it should tell you what the error is.

i,d suggest your problem, is with either the Graphics card. Or your Memory is very Low. I,d go 512 meg RAM ( minimum ) Go To 256 Meg ( AGP Or PCI-e Card ) minimum.
Install Direct X 9 Or 10 if the new card supports It.
Also check The Speed of the Memory.
Final solution, is to free up some items From The start-Menu.

Believe it.  Go check that certain game to see if its install somehow missed prism3d.

Oh, and you're a tosser for not giving the actual error message.
