Wireles adapter radio off

Look on both sides and the front of the computer for the wireless switch to turn it on.

After you turn the switch on there are keystrokes that can also toggle the wireless on or off. Normally you Press and Hold the FN function key located at the lower left portion of your keyboard, then hit the correct (F1 thru F12) key that toggles the wireless. The correct key to hit will have the icon of a wireless signal ))) or it will have the icon of a tower with the wireless signal ))).

Wireless does not always work - signal too weak

Assuming Windows OS, go to "Device Manager", double-click the wireles adapter, then select the "Power Management" tab, uncheck the "Allow computer to turn off .. etc." and press OK

I hope this helps,

Hi, i have a D-link DWL-G122 wirelesss adapter and when connected after 30 min or less the conection gets lost , what to do?

You will need to contact your ISP - they know your set up - it is all sent to them and they do not care for it - - most likely the ISP you have needs to be told to keep the signal stronger - also you can go into your unit and set a STAY ALIVE setting - please read your wireles ROUTER - it is the signal sending unit - or wireless rounter that is the problem - not the adaptor.

Wireless routher will not connect to my computer wirelessly. If plugged in with ethernet cord, internet works fine.

make sure that your computer's wireless adapter is turned on. usually laptop computer came with wireless switch on the side or infront of the laptop. you can also enable the wireles adapter of your laptop by pressing Fn key + F5 or F6 depends on the laptop brand. just look into the F keys with computer picture and signal in it.

Cant get wireles signal, i just switched service providers and can not pick up wireless signal.

Do a channel scan before you call provider and ask them to change it to a channel number that is not being occupied. Ask you provider to change your channel number on your router? You and your neighbor is sharing the same channel number. One is over powering the other.

Can not connect to the internet thru a wireles D-link WUA 2340.

Hi Antonio, you need to make sure your routers wireless settings match the settings of the computers wireless adaptor. Both need to be exactly the same.

Need a stronger signal for the wireles in our house

Your better off getting a repeater for your wireless and strategically place it in a room where it can amplify to the next and so on. Concrete is virtually impossible to pass through with the signals wireless transmit so a repeater strategically placed is the best way in my opinion.

Signal strenth

Ok, since im figuring these are fairly new products, you should call Linksys, concidering you are still under warranty. If I were to make a guess, maybe you needed to forward or open a port on the router to allow signal to flow between the two.

Sometimes wireles goes down unexpectly

OK often it's the XP Zero Configuration service, try disabling that and it may be better... also get the latest driver updates... Often just to disable and re-enable the wifi adapter sometimes in network connections, brings it back without a reboot too.
