When I loose wifi signal I have to switch off my Zyxel ZyAir G-1000. After the reboot signal goes on again.
It happens without a rule, sometimes after some hours , sometimes after a day. Once it has happened twice within 10 minutes.
Same problem with the G-1000. You get disconnected because of the 1hr time out and then can't reconnected without rebooting the device. I've got 4 of these devices and they all do the same.
I'm not sure the problem is to do with the connecting devices, It has to be the wireless access point.Same problem with the G-1000. You get disconnected because of the 1hr time out and then can't reconnected without rebooting the device. I've got 4 of these devices and they all do the same.

Re:
OK often it's the XP Zero Configuration service, try disabling that and it may be better... also get the latest driver updates... Often just to disable and re-enable the wifi adapter sometimes in network connections, brings it back without a reboot too.

its 192.168.1.2 by default now ideally access points do not provide DHCP service, so for you to be able to connect you will need to set an IP manually, got for 192.168.1.10 for example with the default subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and leave the remaining values blank for now. the access points default password is "1234"
here's your manual for further details: http://www.martindobrovolny.cz/vyuka/laboratore/netlab/download/ZyAIR_G-1000_v3_50_UsersGuide.pdf
On the Zyxel ZYAIR G-1000, the reset button is the small hole between the LAN socket and the power plug socket. Simply press this button for 10 seconds, until the link LED turns red. This will reset the unit to factory default settings.
It is not compatible at all wifi is a wireless connection and you are adding another device called zyxel it is like i have adsl unlimited and am adding a new connection with adsl normal of course it will go down not same speed at all wifi connection is 54 mbps normal speed where as zyxel is too slow with only 10 mbps
Check if any access list is set on router and disable it OR add your new PC MAC address to it. Connect last PC to router using LAN cable: Be sure you can browse internet.check your subnet if you cannot. Score this solution and let know if is fixing the issue.
It could be a distance problem, or interference problem. They do sell replacement antennas for your router and/or wireless card that will provide better reception.
Before you run to the store and waste money, I would search your favorite search engine for something called the "windsurfer wifi antenna". It is something you can make at home. Basically you take some cardboard and wrap it in aluminum foil. Shape it kind of like a dish and put one on your router antenna and one on your computer's wireless card antenna. It has been shown to increase your wifi strenghth by about 3dB. I did this and it seamed to help a little, can't hurt to try.
Also check for cordless phones and other such things sitting near your wireless devices, as that can cause electronic disturbance.
This link is for the G1000 but i imagine the same principal only difference being your is 802.11b and the other 802.11g
