Dont have software for camera need help installing software

The problem is that you need to install the software before you connect the camera for the computer to auto recognize it.

If you dont have a disk that came with the camera to install before connecting the usb cord, go to the internet and search for the manufacturers website and download your software instead.

Download the software to your computer and follow the prompts for installing it. Then connect your usb cable. if the computer does not auto recognize the camera after the softwares been installed then you have a problem.

You dont need a software CD for Insignia cameras. You could use Kodak Easyshare software to download your pictures from your camera to a PC. Go to www.Kodak.com, and then select 'Support". Click on 'Kodak Easyshare Software - Windows Operating System'. Download the software and install it. Instructions will be prompted as you install it. This is free and easy to do. Try to connect your camera after switching on the pc and go to add hardware\software where you need to install the software for your logitech camera or run the cd of your camera from cd rom and it will work after installing the software.Dont forget to restart your pc after installing the software.

try re installing the software again, or maybe its not compatible. try and update via internet

have you tried open software cd to view the files and then download the amcap exe right from there

You will need to install driver software to get the webcam working. If your PC/Laptop does not have a CD Drive, you can get the diver software and instructions from

Download and install.
Keep camera unplugged when you begin to install.
