You don't have the tools or knowledge to remove a rotary screw on back, or the gasket sealant for a waterproof watch. Some fashion watches have 4 traditional screw and need professional grade jeweler screwdrivers. Also, there are about 20 batteries commonly used in watches, in various sizes and internal technology, Lithium Ion, Silver Oxide and Manganese Alkaline. If you buy them, you generally have to buy 10!

Don't sweat the details. Just take the watch to your local jeweler. They have all the batteries at hand and the tools to remove the back. It is done whilst you wait for $8 to $15!

The simplest solution to this is to get a watch repairer to do it for you. They usually only charge a small fee to do it and just takes a few minutes.
If you can get the back cover off the watch the battery will have a size code marked on top of it, often an AG- or an SR- number. This will give you the size of battery you need. I think your watch has a 'push fit' back plate.
*Note* If your using something metal as a lever it could scratch the watch.
CAREFULLY using a blunt edged lever GENTLY lever the back plate off. This should reveal the battery. When refitting the back plate it should click into place using a firm, even and gentle pressure.

377 batteries have many equivalents that can be cheaply purchased and tested to see if they work or not.

If the watch #/size is not printed on the back of the watch, you will actually have to remove the battery to figure out what size you need. Best regards.

The battery has its identification number on it, so if you remove the back of the watch you should be able to read the type without stopping the watch.

Or you could take it to a watch shop, who will have a stock of batteries. Removing and replacing the back of a watch sometimes takes some practice and I advise you to give the job to an expert, especially if it is a water resistant type.

to change the battery of fossil blue watch,just open the case back and remove the old battery,look the number size on the battery and put a new battery that same number size ,after replacing battery press the case back tight to avoid water damage !good luck
