My computer is an HP. i dont exactly have the USB cable for it so im having difficulties uploading pictures on my computer. my computer also doesnt fit its memory card. any suggestions on how i can upload pictures?
you can pay fixed price of 99c, shipped, or you can bid one one of the auctions starting at $0.01 shipped. (I have bought 5 individually from china, for under $1 IN TOTAL, and all were sent is seperate packages). Just look for a vendor with reasonable feedback. The device autoinstalls drivers in XP (and above).

does your camera has a usb port? if it does try finding the appropriate usb cable, if it doesn't check if it has any bluetooth or some other connectivity devices.if it does you will have to install a bluetooth device to your computer in order to transfer photos and videos.
Delete your temporary internet files and try the download again. otherwise download on another pc and copy the driver to a usb pen and transfer it into yours.
Do you have the USB cable for your phone, if you do copy the picture and then upload it to your facebook from your computer by going into profile, photos, upload photos. It is pretty straight forward form there. If you have lost your USB cable (like me) use bluetooth if your computer has it to transfer the pictures. If using a computer is out of the question, go to m.facebook.com on your phone and upload it from there. Hope this helps
this is a very odd problem, I have the same camera and it works fine, your best bet is to buy a usb SD memory card dongle. they are about 14 dollars, this will solve your problem with the photos, but I don't know why your camera won't work properly with the cable., have you tried it with the cable on your friends computer?
Your camera should be off. Plug the cable into your camera and then the computer. Turn on your camera. One of the following should happen:..Windows offers to open the pics in various programs, an icon appears on the desktop(double-click on it and you can copy and paste the files into a folder you create on your desktop)...open "my computer" and it may appear as a removable drive...do the double-click from above.
Note...you may have to put your camera into play mode...it differs with some cameras.
- Connect the smaller end of the USB cable into the USB port of your DXG. - Connect the other end of the USB cable to your computer's USB port. - The Digital video camera’s LCD Panel will turn on and will display the PC Connection Menu - Press the select button up or down button to select Mass Storage Device option on the menu screen.
Goto my computer, you can see new 1 drive appear (or 2 if you have SD card in your DXG). So now you can copy/upload your pictures to your computer hard disk.
Most likely it was a USB cable. You can find them in the stores. Make sure you get the right type that is on the printer. As they come in a few different sizes and shapes. Although most knowledgeable people at the store will probably know what kind you need for a printer. What is the make and model anyway? I'll look it up and tell you the exact one to look for.
im also havin the same problem... i know you can easily do it if you have a firewire port on your computer but many laptops or computers dont.. lot of places also recommend an 'i link' cable
You can reinstall the software. But a really good solution is a card reader. They are cheap and reliable and don't need any software. When you plug it in, it will install itself, and then when you put your car in the reader its like an extra little hard drive in your computer. Just drage the files or folders where you want them on your computer. Less wear and tear on the camera is always good and then you don't need to plug in power or waste batteries if you don't have a dock.
