I have a 2009 Dodge Ram pickup with factory sirius radio. When I put my cab over camper on it I lose the sirius radio signal. Is there a external antenna that will work with setup . I can mount it on top of camper.

We had the same issue with our 2007 Dodge Ram truck. We use an external antenna when we have the camper on. You can buy these at various places on line. Get the car antenna not the home antenna. It magnetically mounts onto the truck so we put it on our hood and routed the antenna wire through the passenger side door. Our satellite box is behind the glove box. Remove the glove box and look up in the cavity. We were able to just unplug the factory antenna and plug the external antenna in. It's easy to switch back too. Just be careful with the antenna wire because it's fragile and any little bit of damage makes it useless.

I have a 2014 dodge ram pickup with xm version of sirius xm. In northern canada xm signal is horrible bit sirius works flawlessly. Is there a upgrade to switch to sirius signal without adding a stand alone...

The 2012 Dodge Caliber had a Sirius radio instead of XM - BUT - you will have to check if it has a "FAST" or a "SLOW" "BUSS SPEED" - that is very important that the radio you replace it with has the correct buss speed. Sirius will only work a little while longer as they are eventually going to phase out their overhead satellites for a geostationary satellite like XM. XM has the better sound than Sirius - if you can receive them. If you can't find a factory replacement from 2012, then BestBuy still sells a Stratus Sirius radio - and you can probably even fish-out the antenna wire that you already have for use with the plug and play add-on Status. Good luck - let me know if you have more questions.

2009 dodge ram , fm,am,cd,all work fine on radio. but when I hit satelite radio it shows channel 184 and there is nothing.

Is there audio on 184? It sounds like it just needs to be activated. Call Sirius with the SID #, and they can send a signal. Sirius' # is 888-539-7474

Hit eject button and clock button at same time. Ur Id number will show up. It will only show 4 numbers at a time. Hit seek button 2 more times to get the rest of the numbers

Sirius Antenna

You may have to go to your nearest electronics store or Sirius vendor to see if they have an extension cord...as a Sirius customer i never seen one though......Your best bet is to remount the antenna to the forward part of the roof, towards the windshield.

remove the unit and check your wiring harness dodge uses a two part factory harness if the plug with all the speaker outputs came undone it would still turn on and function normal but you'd have no sound.

Sirius satellite radio

You will need to get another sat antenna, and locate it somewhere either above the camper, or where the camper does not obstruct the antenna. Any store that sells sat radio equipment (Fry's, Best Buy, etc) will have the micro antenna. Install it either on the hood of the truck, or on top of the camper. You will need to run the antenna to the rear of the dash. They make Y couplers that will allow you to run both the OEM antenna and the extermal antenna at the same time, and it will not hurt the system to have both wired in at the same time.
