How to programming Chevrolet now ECU 2005 car I change are northern ECU

Reprogramming involves taking the following steps, but there may be car-model-related variations so only do the job for real with the specific EcuTek instruction manual alongside you.
  1. Connect the vehicle interface cable to the OBD-II connector and turn the ignition switch to ON
  2. Open the ProECU software and choose Tools then Detect Vehicle
  3. Select Program Engine ECU
  4. Choose Query ECU to identify the ECU version fitted to the car
  5. Select Choose ROM File and pick the relevant modified ROM file to program into the ECU
  6. Enter the ROM filename or your unique name for the ROM file in the Comments box so that in future you know exactly which ROM is in the ECU
  7. Ensure that all electrical consumers about the car (such as interior lights, heater blower, stereo etc.) are turned OFF and that mobile phones are kept away from the car
  8. Choose Program ECU
  9. After programming the ECU, follow the on-screen instruction to cycle the Ignition
  10. Start the engine

Computer is not reading the installation disk

By installation Disk do you mean the CD/DVD-ROM? If yes

Check to see if the drive's LED flashes when the system is trying to boot. If it doesn't, open the system and make sure all the cables to the CD/DVD- ROM is properly connected and to the right slots. If the cables are properly connect and the CD/DVD- ROM is still not working replace the CD/DVD-ROM.

However, if its that the system could not install a particular program, make sure the installation files are complete and try again. If its a downloaded program, verify the completeness of the file downloaded and try reinstalling the program.

We have a TI-89 and it is froze on the home page. we tried holding the 2nd button , left arrow , rigth arrow and pressing the on button. it comes up with installation in progress , but when that is done it...

Hello.

Here is a procedure to reset the TI-89 to factory settings (found online):

  • Press the "Snd Mem" key to display the memory screen.
  • Press the "F1" key.
  • Press the navigation key to select the "RAM" icon, then select "1: All RAM" to erase all data and programs from the random access memory and press the "Enter" key, or select "2: Default" and press the "Enter" key to reset all system variables to original factory settings. This preserves any user-defined variables, functions and folders.
  • Press the navigation key to select the "Flash ROM" icon, then select "1: Archive" and press the "Enter" key to erase all data and programs from the read-only memory or select "2: Flash Apps," then press the "Enter" key to erase all applications from the Flash ROM. Select the "All Memory" icon and press the "Enter" key to erase all data, programs and flash applications from the RAM and Flash ROM.

  • Hope this helps.

Unable to install card studio 2009 has dvd-rom instead of cd-rom

    Hello,

Well, you have a couple of choices:

    1) You can have a DVD installed in your computer. Usually around $50.
    2) You can purchase a flash drive (thumb drive) of at least 4GB. Depending on the size of the files, you may need an 8GB. You can have a friend copy the entire DVD onto the flash drive. Then you can take the flash drive and copy the entire DVD from the flash drive to your computer and install the program or install directly from the flash drive. (It may auto start when you insert it into a USB port.)

If you install it from the flash drive you will probably have to insert it every time you run the program. If you copy the DVD to your hard drive you will not have to and it will run faster.

    Thanks for using Fixya.

I am trying to get some sort of an antivirus program running on my laptop..it has no cd rom. help?

Download the program you want to use or copy the program disc onto a USB flash drive - then install it from the flash drive. You can also download several free antivirus programs such as Bitdefender or Sophos online and install that way.

How can I convert htc p4350 from german to english

You will have to flash an English ROM on your device.
Note that flashing is a dangerous procedure and may brick your phone, so read the instructions from the manufacturer's website and download the supported ROM from manufacturer's website only.

AT&T TILT SCREEN IS RED, GREEN, BLUE, AND WHITE

    Hi Greg,

It appears that your ROM has been corrupted. This can be remedied by re-flashing a new ROM to your device.

The ROM is the operating system that your phone uses. My suggestion would be to flash the original ROM from the Manufacturer, then if you want to customize it, you can go to XDA and flash one of their ROMs.

If you are using ATT or Cingular in the US, then the ROM located at this link is the most current one for your phone:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?mnf0wzhndm2

If you are not with Cingular, or not in the US, then go to the HTC site and select your country, then search for the current ROM for your country.

    http://www.htc.com

Also, on some occasions, the ROM will be provided by your Service Provider, so you may need to check their Support Site.

If you'd like to experiment with custom ROMs, I'd suggest you go to the following site, "XDA-Developers", and do some reading and downloading. These guys are VERY smart, and helpful. They can help you with any questions you might have regarding your HTC Tilt, including flashing, repairs, customizing, etc...

    http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=378

To flash a rom, you must connect your phone to your Windows XP computer using the USB cable, then run the ROM update program. The program will confirm with you that you'd like to flash your phone, go ahead and accept. Follow the directions on the Flash program, and when finished, you should get a Flash Successful Message. If not, then the XDA site will be of more help than I can be here. If successful, the phone should restart and you will have a working phone again.

If it does not work, don't give up. The fact that you see the Tri-Color screen means you have a good chance of getting it working again.

Good luck, and PM me directly so I know if it works out or not.

Also, if you decide it's too much hassle, let me know what you'd like for it, I'm sure either myself, or someone on XDA would be willing to buy it if the price is right.

    Flashing the bios

    1. Download the BIOS flash utility.
    2. Download the BIOS rom file.
    3. Format a floppy drive, with system files so that it is bootable.
    4. Copy the utility and the rom file to the floppy drive.
    5. Boot from the floppy drive.
    6. At the c:/ prompt enter the name of the flash utility file followed by the name of the rom file. Example: awd816a.exe romfile.rom
    7. Let the program run. Do not turn off your computer until prompted to do so.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.
