I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED SAMSUNG LED SERIES 5 UA32C5000 IN INDIA.
What I have observed till now that through the USB 2 Video connection,I am not able to play some *.mkv* and *.mp4* video files.
I get the error Video Codec not supported.
I thought it might be a compatibility issue.
But I went to the Samsung Showroom from where I purchased my LED and conducted the same test using the same files which
wont play on my LED on a SAMSUNG LCD SERIES 5 LA32C530 and all the other series 5 LCD models.
And on the LCD models I was able to play all those video files without any glitch or error.
I went to Samsung website and downloaded the PDF user guides for both these models LCD: LA32C530...and LED : UA32C5000
and I observed that video codecs supported table is exactly the same for both these models.
So I am surprised that how is it possible on an LCD(same series 5) but not LED,which is supposed to be a more advanced model..
I am giving the details of one of the files which I was trying to play on LED(didn't work) but worked on LCD model..

So what I need to know is why this is happening or is there any kinda of workaround or Firmware Upgrade needed to be done on the LED to play
the same format which works flawlessly on a simple LCD TV.
Or I am seriously contemplating replacing the LED with LCD as it also costs Rs.12K more than the LCD model.
