This CD had a driver on to allow your camera to connect to a windows PC, however unless you have XP the chances of your camera driver CD working is less that 5%, you need to pop into Ebay, type what you need in search bar, and who know you could be lucky.

I have blue stripes on playback, used head cleaner and still not fixed, what else can i try (pv-gs65)

This is most likely caused by a damaged or misaligned video drum and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

I have a Panasonic PV - GS65 mini dv . When i press record it works for a few seconds and then it stops and tells me to push the reset button . After that is don it continues to do the same thing

This can be caused by several problems including the transmission gear in the tape mechanism not engaging properly or a defective clutch in the take-up spool and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

How to download photos from camcorder to computer

Your camera records photos on card. So, eject the card, put it onto any card reader, and simply copy your images onto PC.
Second tip - download or install USB driver for Your cam. After installing, connect it to PC. Your card appears like a new disc on Your system. Then copy photos.
Be careful! Don´t unplug the cam. Eject it from windows safely! And during transfer unplugging the card means data loss!
Good luck!

Firewire connection not responding

Take a magnifying glass to the firewire port on the camera. Check to see if it looks damaged at all. I've used firewire with my students for many years and this has happened to me on more than one occasion. The student is not as careful as he could be when plugging in the cable. The inside of the firewire cable becomes damaged. This is a cheap fix. Buy a new cable. However, when the port is damaged, it is an expensive fix. Since the computer recognizes another camcorder it may not be the computer. And if you are using the same cable, then it will probably be a hardware issue with the camera. Look at the port and let me know if anything looks out if place.
