This is the message im getting on my phone. Can not get any further than that. Tried to reboot the phone and that didnt work. I have a motorola W385. The phone company said that it would take 6 weeks to get me a new phone. Cant wait that long. Any suggestions?
You can try re-flashing your phone. What happened is the phone has reset it self and cannot find the necessary software to reboot into the OS. If you have a USB cable for the phone you can do this.. and I can give you a link to show you how to do it step by step. Or if your phone is under warranty you can take it to your local service provider and they should beable to re-flash it for you as well. Good luck and let me know.

Your phone is partly fried. It needs to be re-flashed. You can do it with a USB cable and the proper software....Google "bootloader USB" for some help in finding the software. One thing to try, hold down the "*" and "#" keys while powering up the phone, this could possibly help, but I doubt it.
hold the end key(power) and it should restart back to normal. If it goes back into bootloader then your phones software could be corrupt or could have a wrong value in somewhere. What provider is this?
My motorola cell phone model ve465 has the following problem that won't clear itself... Screen has motorola logo and bootloader usb init on the screen and won't let me clear screen so phone will work
basicly the software is corrept.take it 2 a cell 4ne repair shop they will fix it it cost about 150.u cnt do it on ur own coz it takes a specail soft ware n only certain ppl have it
Same thing today. Can't get it to turn on, charge or anything. I was warned not to get this phone by Alltel, that there was major problems with it, they even showed me a memo sent around to all dealers. That due to all the problems with the phone that it would be cheaper to replace/try to repair...then recall.
I heard that newer versions of this phone are better, minw has been ok until now...mfg.date 2/07...
