How can I determine the tensions (voltages) from the power supply of the Optimus SCT-5500, and is there any specific integration or compatibility concern with a Cisco Modem that I should be aware of during this process?

is your supply gone ? difficult. check inside, you can see what leads feed what regulators, I hope. However, hard to build a supply with all them voltages... get a new one, I suggest. Luck...

Hi, The pinouts are as labelled below. The original Bose supply allows for 1A max current, so I would prevent your power supply from going above that.

This is a common problem with lcd panel tv's. There is a problem with your power supply. Here are the steps you need to take.
1. Lay the tv face down on a cushioned table. Make sure the table is large enough to support the entire tv, You don't want to damage the panel.
2. Remove all the screws securing the back of the tv to the front.
3. Remove the back
4. Check the power supply pcb for puffed capacitors. If they are puffed, they need to be replaced.
5. Remove all connectors and screws from power supply pcb. This is the board where the power cord attaches.
6. Replace capacitors with equal or slightly greater valued capacitors. The values are marked on the capacitors in mfd and voltage.
7. You wil need a soldering iron to remove and replace them
8. Install the power supply pcb back into the tv and replace the connectors
9. Connect the power cord into the back of the tv and turn on.
10. Check to see if backlight comes on.
11. If it does, press menu button and lift tv up to see if you have an onscreen display. If you do the repair is complete.

If you don't you need to take a digital multimeter and check the voltage ouput from the connectors of the power supply pcb. Connect black lead of your meter to chassis ground and use the red lead and touch each individual pin to see if you have the correct voltage. The voltage levels are printed on the power supply pcb. If they are non existent, then you need to replace the power supply.
You said that you have no power light indicator led on the front panel at all. This tells me you have no standby voltage. Good luck and let me know how you make out

The ST 100 microphone is a phantom powered unit. So, it receives its power by the same terminals used for its connection, not needing a separated power supply.

In general, most mixing consoles offer the option to feed the balanced microphones with 48 volt via a switch that can turn on or off its internal phantom power supply.

If you are going to use the ST100 microphone with a common amplifier or mixer, you will need to buy a separated phantom power supply. Searching the Internet for "phantom power supplies", you will find many available models and brands.

The Power supply willhave to pin #16 connected to pin #15 for an ATX power connector. It would bebest to purchase a Power Supply Tester for about $20.00, which will test allvoltages with a load and give you a go or no go signal. If you want to use ameter to check voltages, here is a link for the pin outs.

Thanks for using FixYa. To check what has gone bad you’ll have to open the back of the unit and check the backlight inverter board. The inverter is the power supply source for the backlights. If that’s the issue then it’s always better to replace the inverter board completely just to avoid any future issues. If not then check the power supply board however, it seems to be the inverter board as the sound is still working fine.Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
