I fixed the same problem with my BC 175xl. Open up the scanner and look on the radio receiving board, thats the board with the antenna jack on it. Check all of the diodes (diodes are very small red things with a black band on one end and short bare sliver colored leads coming out of both ends conecting it to the board) On my BC 175xl one of the leads on a diode in the lower right hand side of the receiver board had burned off. Reconect or replace any diodes that are either no longer conected to their leads or their leads no longer conected to the board. I discovered this repair on my own, after never finding anything about this on the internet
you dont tell us soo much information but from i understand you have no leads lighting . no power lead no hdd lead etc. you have to conect them properly in your mainboard. open your mainboard manual that's came with and go to the section leads, there is explained where is the place and where to conect each lead.
I just fixed one that had several bad solder conections on the circuit board. The connections to the Flyback transformer and several leads to various componets all had a ring around the conection and not making a good conection to the leads.
