This information is intended for experienced users. It is not intended for basic users, hackers, or computer thieves. Please do not try any of following procedures if you are not familiar with computer hardware. I'll not be responsible for the use or misuse of this information, including personal injury, loss of data or hardware damage. So use it at your own risk.

A. By Using the Motherboard Jumper:

In most motherboards CMOS battery is soldered, which makes it difficult to remove the battery. In this case we use another method.

Almost all motherboards contain a jumper that can clear all CMOS settings along with the BIOS password. The location of this jumper varies depending upon the motherboard brand. You should read your motherboard manual to check its location. If you don't have the manual then look for the jumpers near the CMOS battery. Most of the manufacturer label the jumper as CLR, CLEAR, CLEAR CMOS, etc.

When you find the jumper, look carefully. There will be 3 pins and the jumper will be joining the center pin to either left or right pin. What you need to do, is remove the jumper and join the center pin to the opposite pin. e.g. if the jumper joins center pin to left pin, then remove it and join center pin to right pin. Now wait for a few seconds and then again remove the jumper and join the center pin to left pin.

Make sure to turn the PC off before opening the cabinet and resetting the jumper.

B. By Using Software:

I have found that BIOS/CMOS Password Recovery Tool is the most effective.:
BIOS/CMOS Password Recovery Tool is a program that works instantly to remove any lost or forgotten BIOS/CMOS password. Simply boot your PC to DOS and execute the program, and get access to forgotten BIOS/CMOS passwords in just seconds

I have forgot my BIOS password

The only way to reset the bios password is to reset the bios itself. Depending on the make/model of your computer, there might be a little button on the back of the unit which you push with a paperclip. Turn the computer on and while the BIOS is booting, press the Pause'Break button on your keyboard. That should stop the BIOS boot...Or attempt to get into it so that it waits at the bios password screen, then press the button. It should reset the computer, then when it comes back up (you might need to hit it twice, then turn the power on), it will say something about the clock being wrong, enter the setup to fix it. Go ahead and enter the setup, reset the clock, then (if you need to) reset the password to something you'll remember.

If there's no button, then you'll have to reset the bios using a jumper on the motherboard. The jumper's location varies based on the make/model of your computer. If you respond with said make/model, I should be able to look up how to do it, and I can respond back with the specific instructions.

Black screen with a enter pass word

The BIOS password is removed by the BIOS configuration, you need the BIOS password to get into the BIOS configuration. But if you do not have the BIOS password then you need to construct this dongle device.
TOSHIBA BIOS PASSWORD DONGLE
You can build a dongle that plugs into the printer port.Purchase a 25 pin male D sub connector and solder insulated wires to the various pins as listed below. The pins are numbered on the connector
http://www.tilman.de/sonstiges/toshiba/dongle1.jpg this is a picture of the finished dongle

Wire the pins as follows :-1-5-10, 2-11, 3-17, 4-12, 6-16, 7-13, 8-14, 9-15
Plug the finished dongle in the printer port and power up the laptop. The password will be reset, go into the BIOS configuration to check the BIOS password, you may have to disable the BIOS password..
OR there are other places that will sell you a "Key" for a price.
OR you can provide "Proof of Ownership" to Toshiba, and they will sell you a "Code" to remove the Anti-Tamper, Anti-theft, protection.

How to Break BIOS Setup Password

there is no way to break that password..the only way to remove it is to reset the bios by short the clear bios pins(jumpers)..or remove the bios battery ..this will erase any settings and when you put the battery back will be on optimal factory defaults..(same if you locate the jumpers for clr Bios) but ..for that you have to open the laptop ...its easier for desktops..but for this will be a little much ..but is the only way ...so ..in short be careful and you have to get to the motherboard and remove the battery ...if you do not have an acces point to the jumpers..
