Have you checked into the health of your laptop's battery?
Does it automatically shut down when connected to a wall socket too?
If it shuts down in both conditions, check into the power saving settings first and if those are set properly, then have the battery checked to see whether it is connected properly and if it is in good shape.
If all seems to be okay, and this is a very recent situation, do a shut down / restart and go into Safe Mode. But when it comes up it will ask if you want Safe Mode or System Restore.
Choose Restore, and restore your system back to at least two days prior to when this began to happen.
If/when that is successful, then test whether it does the auto-shut down again/still.
If not, and all works well, then you've solved the problem.
However, if it still does the auto shut down problem, it's time to contact Acer and see about getting professional help with the laptop PC.
Good luck,
-a.
If this does not work you
will probly have to go back to factory settings
