Picture of dvd wont play

Sometimes these DVD players have a security feature. When car is moving it won't play. Check manual to see if it has that feature. Let me know.

Some in car dvd players wont play on screen with car turned on. I wired a switch to the remote line to bypass. Wiring is defintly the issue

u need to switch function screen to dvd screen. Button is on front of unit to scroll through screens.

i guess there a built in dvd player on the set and it could play most DVD format.
but if you wish to use another dvd player
hook up the dvd on the tv
video output (DVD) to video input (TV)
audio output to audio input
the find the auxiliary button from either the tv or dvd

If you were using RCA cables, you may have had them hooked up wrong. I know this may sound like an easy fix, but I still hook them up wrong from time to time. Especially if there are more than one set of RCA hook-ups on the back of the unit. If you were using a S-video cable you shouldn't have to use RCA cables, if you had both hooked up that could cause your DVD/VCR unit to not work properly and only get a partial feed to the TV. Wish I could. I have the 4600 combo and the VCR works fine. The DVD stopped working many months ago and just yesterday started working fine again. Worked fine for two days and then stopped, picture froze, and all I got out of it, is the picture is loading. Wont give me back my DVD nohow, so have opened the case and stole it back. Tray will not open at all. Trying some repairs, will holler if succesful

jensen is not such a great brand for indash. if you have the receipt or warranty you might want to return it and get yourself a new one. I know this because when i bought my phase linear i didnt want to eject the cd and the guy told me that they come very defective sometimes

If the DVD is not dirty/scratched it might mean it has a stupid security thing that wont let you play "un-copyrighted" dvd.
There are ways around it but I think they are quite costly.

Hi There is an I/P button on your player's remote control. Power your player on then press the I/P button on your remote control.
