Xbox360 thinks it's overheating

My xbox 360 will run for about 10 minutes before it shuts down and brings up 2 red lights, which means it's overheating. it's cool to the touch and both fans seem to be working. it's in a free and clear area with nothing blocking it's vents or fans.

Speaking from experience with my son's xbox....the thermal deal in it is bad. You can get this fixed by a shop but it will only last a few weeks to a month.....sorry to say...it's a bad xbox now.

My everbuilt shallow well pump runs for about 2-3 minutes, then shuts off. The pump extremely hot. Comes back on after cools about 10 minutes. Just need to know if the pump is on it's last leg?

probably not
I suspect that the start/run capacitor has failed and the motor is overheating and the thermal overload is kicking in until it cools down and then allows it to restart
have an electrician check it out because if it is that ( $20>$ 40 to replace plus time ) is way cheaper than new motor

Why is mybcm not letting me pass insp there is no code on thi1996 chry lhs what is going on

You mean PCM most states read the readiness monitors depending on the state on how many they allow not to be completed. The first one on the list that is hard to get run and pass is the EVAP Because this requires the car to be cold and fuel tank must between 15%-85% and both air temp and coolant temp with in 10 degrees of each other. Start car let idle for 5 -10 minutes Then drive car normally no hard accelerations or quick stops bring speed to 50-60 mph and coast down to 20-15 mph without brake pedal input repeat this twice. Then bring speed to 58-62 mph and set cruise control run for 12-16 miles exit freeway caught a red light or stop and idle 2 minutes shut car off rest for 5 minutes and repeat freeway drive. then redo morning cold start again . then have some one test the generic readiness monitors to what needs to run and attempt again. California before 2000 1 can be incomplete after 2000 all have to be completed which is hard some will not run for 800 miles.

2001 Ford Focus shuts down and quits with little warning.

Back in the 80's I had a ford maverick with similar problems. The relays were on the wheel well. It was by luck I bumped the relay and it was very hot. Next time it shuts down check the temp on the relays. If one is real hot that may be you problem. My neighbor had a similar problem with a blazer she thought it was the fuel pump. Before I changed the fuel pump for her I swapped the A/C relay with the fuel pump relay(they were the same relay) . She live there about 6 months before moving and to my knowledge she never had the problem. I agree with you I think it is something to do with electrical and overheating is a sign of a problem.

I have a 1986 Corvette Coupe. It overheated today when I sat through 5 or 6 lights or 20 minutes.. Smoke came out of the hood. The coolant overflow sprayed out radiator fluid I think. The temp went to 291....

Let it run for about 10-15 minutes after it cools down. After the 10-15 minutes (but don't let it overheat) squeeze the top hose to see it it's hard. If it is, it's probably the thermostat, and the coolant isn't flowing through the engine to the radiator. It's just staying in the engine and getting hot.

Car starts run's 3 seconds shuts down

Your car is equipped with a system called PASSKEY standard on all GM cars and light trucks, try the following procedure to reset the system, the battery being dead will trigger the system.

PASSKEY LOCKOUT RESET GM CARS 1999 UP
1) Put the key in the ignition and turn to the "ON" position. Leave it that way for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes turn the key and take it out. Repeat this process (2) more times (3 times, 30 minutes total) This should reset the passlock system to recognize your key.
