How to set up after resetting the WAG200G?

can some one help me please.. i am trying to reset my giffgaff password, but the link there are sending me wont let me click it?

Do you mean the router's login password or the encryption password?
To reset the Linksys back to the default settings - Press and hold the pinhole RESET button at the back of the router with the power ON for 20 secs. then release the RESET button.
To connect to your wireless router, the router's wireless settings needs to be configured with the SSID, encryption etc. and also the wireless cards in all the laptops/computers needs to be configured with these router's wireless settings. Then the laptops/desktop computers can communicate with your wireless router.
Connect a LAN cable from the Linksys to the LAN port on your computer.
Open a browser and enter the Linksys configuration URL
http://192.168.1.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = admin
You can protect your router by changing the default admin PW (write it down and put it in a safe place)
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2 encryption.
Now apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.

Or, "reset" the router to its factory settings.

Open the logic Board And wash with IP thinner... Afterwards as it is fit and press the RESET Button its working good condition. . .

as i know, if you have done the hard reset linksys will reset to default setting in this case your 26 digit WEP code no longer effect. you should login to admin to set your setting. may be you can read the manual again or see support/WAG200G

Most probably you will need to upload the new firmware on your WAG200G as this issue is due to a corrupt firmware, reset the unit for 1 minute and then try to upload the latest firmware on the unit.

Call linksys @ 18668705819, they will give you free tech support, since the router is new.

just reset it the router then again configure it then you get it

try resetting the router by holding the reset button on the back for about 30 seconds then try the defauld password with no username and yes the default is admin

I am sorry to say this but the accesspoint WAP54G's capability as a wireless repeater can only be used with a WRT54G, WRT54GS and another WAP54G.

That means it will not work as a wireless repeater for the WAG200G gateway. If you need a wireless repeater, you can use a WRE54G. This is a Linksys wireless repeater and is compatible for all wireless AP's.
