How do i restore my acer aspire m3201 back to original condition as vista disk did not come with it

This model Acer has a restore partition on the hard disk.

In order to USE it, you have to have an Operating System that can handle that amount of memory like Windows XP 64-bit or Vista 64-bit. See a chart here.

Generally you have two or more screws in the back of the computer, maybe a lever that you have to pull to release the side panel and it should come off, releaving the internals.

You will need to get your hard drive wiped and re-install windows and then your problem will be solved.

You will need to burn a Recovery CD / DVD set from the icon located on the desktop/ In your Acer Home Start utility (The window loading at startup) or from the Start Menu.

Using this disk you will be able to do a System Restore back to original factory setup.

use nlite to slipstream sp3 into a new winxp setup disk and that should find the sata bridge driver.

Yeah, call acer. it's like $20 for a restore disk.
