Screen tiling on my akai pdp5016h tv i have horizantal lines flickering. found one local tv repairman who said he would work on it, said it was the powerboard. after 6 months of waiting on him to get one. i installed a new board part#3501q00152a. still has same problem. any help would be appreciated.

Depending on the location of the lines, like if they are in a group close to each other, or all over the screen they could be a couple of things.. If they are grouped in a certain quadrent of the screen, one of your buffer boards is bad, they run along the top and bottom of the screen and are cheap and easy to replace. If the lines are all over the screen, mostlikly the main control board is bad and will have to be replaced.. If that dosent fix the problem then your panal is shot.. Good luck.. Cheap parts on ebay.
